About Me

I’m a simple Christian Filipino that likes to read, write, collect shoes, making my girlfriend, Cassie, happy, and enjoy all of God’s blessings.

I’m also a student at California State University, East Bay, currently majoring in Business Administration with emphasis in Finances.

Grades are one thing, but God is every thing. Although I have a tendency to be a perfectionist when it comes to school, it’s not to say that I do it for my own glory. The Bible says “So whether you eat, drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV). I’m not doing anything for myself; it’s all for my Lord.

Friends and Family are his blessings to me. As with any gift, it should be cherished. Although the temptation may come to re-wrap and re-gift, it shouldn’t be looked at as an excess item, rather a bountiful blessings.

Thus my humble personality. Whatever comes my way is God’s gift, not from anything else. “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans that will prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” (Jeremiah 29:11).

It’s all a gift.

Another thing about me–like I mentioned earlier–is that I like sneakers. That part of me began in my freshman year of high school, circa 2003. The Nike Air Max line was the one that drew me in. The first pair I got was the Nike Air Max 1 in the Retro Red/Grey colorway. Since then, I’ve been hooked. Not only were the shoes itself a good thing, but how to obtain them was also a good learning experience. From it, I can confidently finance any purchase I might have, worry-free. For the Bible says, “Be free from the love of money and be content with what you have because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’ So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:5-6 NIV). God is good, baby.

By the way, “gr0unded” is my user name on the Sole Collector and Niketalk Forums. Good places for people into sneakers and fashion in general.

Also, thanks for reading through this if you’ve gotten this far.

Thanks for the link and the comment, brother. Let’s make a wall to keep the godly folk together – fellowship is key, faith is crucial and fear of the Lord is most important.

Don’t forget to “write on the wall” for the truth lies in the ink.

    Peace!
